For the days of December 18 and 19 we presented our collaboration with photography artist Patricia Morosan as well as our pieces from the debut collection "Decadence" at tête in Berlin.
tête is a shared space for artists to showcase their work. It has been active for almost twenty years, when Prenzlauer Berg was still packed with artists and creatives that came from all around the world.
Eight powerful images were shown, shot by Patricia.
Each image presented not only fashion photography but an individual between self-assumed excess and self questioning one's own way of living.
In the second room we showed the garments: dresses, skirts, tops and a coat hanging over a cascade of mirror foil.
The clothes came into being after experimenting with volume and pleating. The pleats in differing materials became synonymous with different implications of the idea of decadence: Belgian Symbolism, decline, liberating excess, turmoil and change.
Patricia's artistic instincts made it possible to translate this ideas into photography.
The response to our mini-exhibit was amazing. Especially for des FILLES désir starting out and producing work in this difficult and unstable times, personal feedback was great to hear.
