In February 2026 des FILLES désir took part again in the group exhibition of DER BERLINER SALON during Berlin Fashion Week.
This year the presentation included pieces from the collection C005 clear identities. The works continue the ongoing research of the studio into clothing as a physical filter through which identities appear and shift.
Today images, livestreams and digital filters shape the way people construct their public appearance. Clothing has long played a similar role, allowing individuals to transform how they present themselves within different cultural and social contexts.
The garments from C005 clear identities translate some of these dynamics into material form. Translucent layers, textile structures and sculptural volumes create surfaces that mediate between body, image and perception.
As in the previous year, the pieces were shown in the historic rooms of the Gemäldegalerie in Berlin, where contemporary fashion appeared alongside works from the museum’s collection.
For several weeks the garments were on display as part of this presentation of new and experimental positions within the Berlin fashion landscape.
